The history of Realtography begins in Massachusetts, USA, where Yiannis Kontekakis laid the foundations of a course full of creativity and professionalism. Born in the United States to immigrant parents from the beautiful island of Crete, Yiannis had a passion for imagery and photography, and a love for the land from a young age.

In 1989 he graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts, and then worked as a studio photographer specializing in commercial photography. However, life took him to new horizons as he found his passion in the real estate industry. For eleven years he worked as a sales representative, gaining valuable experience, followed by him obtaining his senior real estate license which allowed him to start his own business.

In the following years, he combined his love of image with his knowledge of real estate, working both in commercial real estate and independently as a real estate agent. With a total of 24 years of experience, he managed to stand out thanks to the excellent photos that highlighted each property, offering a comprehensive and quality service to his clients.

In 2024, he decided to return to his roots and settle in Thessaloniki, bringing with him all the knowledge, passion and innovation that characterize him. There he used his career and life experiences to establish Realtography®, combining art, know-how, and technology in his real estate photography business.
